Moore Puts on A Show in Clinton

Fans were treated to fantastic weather conditions for a Sunday afternoon of live harness racing at Clinton Raceway.

Driver Tyler Moore took advantage of perfect weather conditions by dominating the 10-racecard. Moore lined up behind the gate in 9 of 10 races and visited the winner circle three times, while earning over $10,000 for connections.

Veteran equine athletes lined up behind the gate in Seniors Pace action in race 8. 12 year old Another Great Pick posted the fastest last quarter of the day (28.4) to capture the $4,500 event for driver and trainer Ross Battin.

Handle remained strong at Clinton Raceway with fans pushing over $66,000 through the windows. A race 10 Super Hi-5 carryover brought in over $7,300 in new money and paid $241.75 to those with the winning combination.

Clinton Raceway is back in action on June 12th for the 11th edition of Legends Day. The jewel event in Clinton Raceway’s racing calendar, Legends Day is a biennial event created by the track in 2001 to showcase Hall Of Fame harness drivers.
