Our History
In June of 1970 the local Kinsmen embarked on what was to prove one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken by a club the establishment and operation of a harness horse racing track, complete with a pari-mutuel betting area. In 1970, the two Kinsmen who spearheaded the raceway idea were Frank Cook and Ted McCullough and they then convinced the club of the potential the track could have and they never looked back.
